About Yamen Saadi with Simon Tedeschi
As a soloist, Yamen Saadi has performed with orchestras such as the Staatskapelle Berlin, Chamber Orchestra of Europe, Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra amongst many others alongside esteemed conductors including: Daniel Barenboim, Lionel Bringuier, Lawrence Foster, Leonidas Kavakos, Christoph Poppen and Lahav Shani.
Despite his young age, Saadi has already performed across the globe in recital and concerto including; Carnegie Hall, Elbphilharmonie, Rheingau Festival, Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, Pau Casals Festival, Jerusalem Festival and Schloss Elmau. In November 2023, he makes his recital debut in Tokyo at the Hamarikyu Asahi Hall and the Musashino Civic Cultural Hall.
Yamen Saadi plays the 1734 ‘Lord Amherst of Hackney’ Stradivari violin, previously owned by Fritz Kreisler, and a Jacob Eury bow, both generously loaned to him by Stephan Jansen on behalf of a member of the Stretton Society.
Simon Tedeschi is one of Australia’s most renowned classical pianists, recipient of prizes such as Symphony Australia’s Young Performer of the Year Award, the Legacy Award from the Creativity Foundation (USA), first prize in the Keyboard division of the Royal Overseas League Competition (UK), and a Centenary of Federation Medal. He has performed in major concert halls and for festivals throughout Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia, and for world leaders including former US President George W. Bush and the Dalai Lama.
The program for this recital is based around the miniature masterworks of celebrated violinist and composer, Fritz Kreisler, on whose Stradivari Yamen has the privilege of playing on. You will also experience the full blooded virtuosity of the young maestro in Greig's stirring and romantic Sonata No.3.
Don’t miss your chance to experience this highly anticipated performance in 2025.
