Queensland Theatre Company

Queensland Theatre Company is the state’s flagship professional theatre company established in 1970 by an Act of Parliament. It is currently under the artistic direction of multi-award winning playwright and renowned director Michael Gow, who is the Company’s Artistic Director. Each year the Company presents an annual main-stage season of nine plays showcasing an array of acclaimed theatre artists and offering a dynamic mix of plays from exciting new Australian work to outstanding international classics.
