Barmera YMCA Recreation Centre

The YMCA of South Australia is a not for profit organisation governed by an elected Board of Directors who in partnership with the Chief Executive Officer establish strategic directions, but delegate operation control through a professional management team. Any surpluses generated by management contracts or programs are utilised to provide access to YMCA services by those in greatest financial need.
Established in 1850 the YMCA of South Australia is one of Australia's oldest and most respected community organisations. The YMCA's mission is to contribute to the development of both individuals and communities through the provision of a broad range of programs and services. The YMCA of South Australia is a member of the National Council of the YMCA's of Australia, and through this affiliation is linked to a network of YMCA operations in Australia and throughout the world.
