Business Analysts commissioned by lasttix.com.au undertook a detailed analysis of the live entertainment ticketing market (including sport) on an annualised basis in Australia, creating one of the most detailed and authoritative reports of its kind ever commissioned in Australia.
Amongst its many findings: Some 57% of live entertainment tickets in Australia go unsold every year.
Undertaken by independent research company DNR, consumers interviewed overwhelmingly expressed a desire for a 'go to' destination for last minute entertainment offerings.
The research further found that approximately 85% of consumers would use a last minute ticket channel if it were offered.
