The Tinalley String Quartet continues its presentation of dynamic and evocative programs in its 2012 National Concert Series. The Series begins with an eclectic program of Haydn, Shostakovich, Bach and Beethoven's Razumovsky No. 2, a feast of language and colour. Acclaimed pianist Kristian Chong joins Tinalley in July for Brahms' epic Piano Quintet, together with Schumann's Quartet in a minor and Webern's romantic offering Langsamer satz. In November, Tinalley sets sail across the Pacific and explores the new world with Barber, Adams and Dvorak's beloved 'American' Quartet .
