About the event

Join the Brandenburg on a spellbinding journey through 400 years of English music.

This musical odyssey departs from Thomas Tallis' Tudor England and traces the development of the English musical tradition with glorious gems by Tallis, Byrd, Gibbons, Locke, Purcell, and Handel before arriving in the 20th century with Ralph Vaughan Williams' enigmatic and nostalgic Fantasia on a theme by Thomas Tallis.

Do not miss out on this rare and unique exploration of the English musical heartland. Featuring countertenor Max Riebl, the Brandenburg Choir, and the largest Brandenburg string ensemble ever assembled by Artistic Director and conductor Paul Dyer.
